Gordian Braun is responsible for ElevenLabs’ growth business in EMEA and Latin America. ElevenLabs is the world’s leading provider of AI speech technology, valued at US$11 billion. His journey to the top of the voice AI sector has spanned 17 years of hands-on business development: a banking apprenticeship, an MBA from the Hankamer School of Business at Baylor University, roles as a founder and investor – including as a founding investor in the email automation SaaS company Mailivery – and over three years as interim general manager for private equity-backed scale-ups, including Groupe Mentor, a family-owned business with 2,400 employees across 15 countries. In 2020, he was accepted into the W20 batch of Y Combinator – the network behind Airbnb, Dropbox and Stripe – with a global acceptance rate of 0.1 per cent. At ElevenLabs, Gordian brings the discipline of an operator to one of the most far-reaching transformations in enterprise AI: the shift from voice as a feature to voice as infrastructure.
